  14. Has anyone with a USR Sportster 14.4 and a Promise 2300+ EIDE controller 
  15. attempted to use the new Promise driver for Win95?  If it caused a 
  16. total system lockup when attempting to use the modem, please send 
  17. documentation to Promise at support@promise.com or send a message to 
  18. them via their wib site at http://www.promise.com.  They claim to not 
  19. have heard of this problem.  Specify which win95 driver - there is one 
  20. that has been around awhile and a new beta one.

  22. If you have sucessfully dealt with the problem, will you please let me 
  23. know so I can use the driver?  It improves my disk access tremendously 
  24. and affects nothing else on my system except my modem.

  27. Promise, just want to document a bug, if there is one in their driver.
